According to the article article “Will 1965 be the Year? The Development History of the Biggest Lotus”, Motor, 10 Jun. 1965, two Series 2 Lotus 30 were delivered to Bamford.

J.C. Bamford is a company that makes excavation equipment, located in Rocester, Staffordshire, UK. JCB started a racing team in the mid-1960s that was “engaged on (a) full series of sports car races.” They initially focused on competing in the UK but “envisaged” racing on the Continent. 30/S2/4 was crashed by Peter Sadler.

The present whereabouts of the replacement car is unknown.
