Jim climbs into his Lotus 40 at the Brands Hatch International Guards Trophy race on Aug. 30, 1965. The race was held in two 30 lap parts. Clark gridded the car midfield at 18th. In Part 1 he placed 11th, in Part 2 the differential siezed. Overall he was classified as “Retired”.
