Lotus 30/40 Registry – David Prophet

According to the article article “Will 1965 be the Year? The Development History of the Biggest Lotus”, Motor, 10 Jun. 1965, one Lotus 30 and one replacement chassis were delivered to David Prophet.

David raced in 2 Grand Prix races in 1963 and 1965, and raced sports cars extensively. He died in a helicopter crash at Siverstone, Mar. 29, 1981.

The present whereabouts of this car is unknown.
